{"id":1781,"date":"2019-12-29T16:32:29","date_gmt":"2019-12-29T16:32:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cresm.it\/?p=355"},"modified":"2023-10-11T11:28:57","modified_gmt":"2023-10-11T11:28:57","slug":"sprar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cresm.it\/en\/sprar\/","title":{"rendered":"SPRAR"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>SPRAR<\/strong><br>Protection system for asylum seekers and refugees<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cresm.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/SPRAR-760x400-1.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">PROTECTION SYSTEM FOR ASYLUM SEEKERS AND REFUGEES \u2014 SPRAR<\/a> is a public hosting system \u2013 National Fund for Asylum Policies and Services \u2013 consisting of centers run by organizations of the third sector, distributed throughout the national territory and in collaboration with the National Association of Italian Municipalities \u2013 ANCI. The SPRAR project of Palermo, managed by the CRESM, is carried out on the basis of the reception model proposed with the Comunit\u00e0 Urbane Solidali \u2013 CUS.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since 2014 the&nbsp;<strong>SPRAR<\/strong> center, managed by CRESM, houses 8 asylum seekers and refugees and it\u2019s located in the building of <strong>Comunit\u00e0 Urbane Solidali \u2014 CUS<\/strong>. According to CRESM the reception model made up of small widespread centers represents the right balance between sustainability and the quality of professional intervention together with the indispensable human approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All the territorial projects of this reception system obligatorily provide for the implementation of social accompanying activities, aimed at getting to know the area and effectively accessing social and health services, this in addition to board and lodging. Activities are carried out for learning the Italian language, adult education and legal support activities for the recognition of refugee status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Training and professional rehabilitation courses are developed to promote job placement, as are measures for autonomous access to housing.
